Sam444,
Your comments are welcomed and appreciated. Your humanity is intact. I think we need to be reminded that the loud voice of so few control the will of so many people of "good will" and humanity.
To suggest that the victims of oppression and racism receives the greater gain from the fortunes of the wealthy is mindless insanity! That is the old and successful argument of all who profit from the misery that injustice perpetuates.

This situation pains me so. I know there are many wrongs out there and I wish they could be fixed but it doesn't seem likely. I want people to be successful no matter who they are. There is much work to be done and it seems all we do is exchange rhetoric in this world. I know other countries are important but I cannot understand why the government is so willing to put money into other countries and yet our inner city kids go by the wayside. It is time for America to look at our kids and do whatever it takes to get them educated and then make sure there is opportunity. I will never understand racism because we are all people. We all have the same basic needs. Someone out there please tell me why one suffer backlash due to color. It is inane to me. I have kids in my complex of all colors and if we watch kids play they don't get into the racial stuff they just play. I have a bicycle ministry where I give away bikes to underprivileged kids. The kids I have given bikes to are of all colors. But the little guys from the Sudan call me grandma and give me big hugs every time I see them. I consider myself most fortunate to be so loved by them. I am going to continue my personal mission of doing what I can to make a difference in peoples' lives for as long as I live. sam
