I get your point. Others who try to skip around with diplomacy only manage to circumvent the intent. sam

Re: You still don't get it
Thank you, Kooka, for your opinion. It has been duly noted, recorded, and accepted. Your opinion will count just as much as any others I will recieve, and, at the end I will tally and announce the results.
O.K. Any others out there! Now is your opportunity!
Please "weigh in!"

You still don't get it
That is the whole problem. I don't lie to my wife and I would be a total loser if I did. I know what to say to her, but I am honest with her. I will tell her what I really think of her clothes and such and she does not get mad. You seeing being 'diplomatic'; does not mean lying or even hiding the truth. It means knowing how to say something without causing any unneeded offense. You are very clearly someone who lacks such a skill
By your logic here most of the population are loser unless they blindly agree with the majority or at least pretend to in order to fit in. Seriously according to you our founding father were all losers, since they lost a great deal before the actually won and could have lost even more, all because they decided to be open and honest about what they beloved. In fact looking at history, you are claiming the pretty much everyone who has truly changed the world is a loser. Hell, if you really believe the Bible and the New Testament, then Jesus is a big time loser by your logic. He went against the norm and was persecuted against and in the end it cost him everything, including his life.
And I have my next religious post here now. Thank you for the inspiration.
