Nice try, but you missed. I was not comparing the '06 and '07 seasons to average. I was comparing them to The GORE's false prediction that they would be worse than '05.
Looks like you have a ways to go to hit that 98% quota of proving me unreliable. Keep trying.

No less than the National Weather Service has states that, sure, these last two seasons are less in intensity than 2005 -- however they are still above average.
You must remember that 2005 was a record breaker -- so many named storms that they used up the alphabet of names and had to resort to numbers.
After that, many expected a repeat. However, we have a few years ahead of us. We shouldn't draw conclusions until several years of the scenario plays out.
