I guess I see myself as the person I once was, young skinny and stayed true to my husband, but when I lost him to another woman, that didnt do much for the ego, and I know I come across as desperate in some cases, but at the same time I come across as someone who is very independent, and that sometimes scare men off
I cant win for losing

Do you like yourself? Are you comfortable with yourself when you are by yourself? You don't need to answer those questions to me. It is rhetorical. Men of any age have a second sense about those things. They are attracted to confident women who are comfortable in their own skin and with their lot in life. They are leery of needy women.
