mysteria - the problem with socialistic efforts is that the word
"socialism" itself is a dirty word.
Tainted by too much preconceived baggage and misconception. Terms such as "collective" "universal" and "cooperative" when used to describe socialistic efforts, tend to be better received. "Universal Healthcare" for example sounds a lot better than "Socialist Healthcare". As our species begins to face the inevitable in modifying our thinking towards the use of the earth's finite resources, including food and water, cooperative thinking will become a necessary element of continued survival.

Just in general I see socialistic programs as a means to there own end
Imagining the day when such efforts are seen as baby steps to a greater way of being across the board
