thanks azur. I'm working on it as we speak. It is good though totally represents the world seen through my eyes rather than purely scientific descriptions and observations. Hell, even the history I include is only what I see as important.

You also returned here to that way of arranging words that I used to comment on much more
back when I was Beachbelle. The field guide sounds like a star, even when you give so little away about it. Or perhaps because you only hint at. But I can wait to read it for it will be worth it.

Strat - you're too kind. I was afraid it might come off a bit whiney or
worse as a bit of high school melodrama. But yeah, I guess the wrinkles on my brow have made me immune to that charge. And yeah, I'm looking for $$$ with the book.

If your field guide reads with the same feeling this piece has,
you will probably help save the sanity of a lot of people, as well as enjoy a few hard earned bucks.
