Nautikos! O, Naut! I am so stoked! This is so rich! I want to take a link everyday and feature at my blog. I have only read three at one time and it is crazy for this to lay here unread.
My beginning thoughts:
I first understood 'time' as something that 'approaches'; and now, which is where in time (not in time). Most profound for me and I saw it much more clearly this time (no pun!): what we do have time for gives important hints about one. That was a knock out punch for me. I just value time, so it was striking!
Then a quick thought. "Time begins with the emergence of human consciousness."
For me my darlin', this is why we paddle the same canoe!
"but rather that the way we are 'geared' into the world, and the way the world and the things in the world into one another, somehow produces 'time' "
So rich. I took my first link, please say yes. I heard you! Thanks.
Love to you
Shelly

Re: Someone ...
Interesting comment, BC! Off the cuff I would say this, though: it strikes me that reincarnation, the way it is usually understood, appears to involve the re-constitution of a consciousness of some kind (consciousness of
self in the case of human consciousness) - but physics, quantum or classical, has nothing to say about and indeed is not concerned with the mystery of consciousness! No-one knows how to get from one to the other. Which brings to mind another question: can artificial intelligence be conscious of itself?

Re: This has been an enjoyable...
Thanks, Chuck! It's true, it was a bit of an effort to condense some of this stuff into post-size segments, since we're dealing with things here that fill libraries! I did sometimes agonize over what to leave out and what to put in! That's one reason it took so long...And I think I'm gonna take it easy for a while...

Re: This is one of those I would love to see listed in its entirety, in order..
Thank you, ciel! Maybe, if I can find the time, I'll do a little editing and re-writing and put them up! And in principle I share your view that anything ought to be up for grabs. On the other hand, there is no point in straying into areas that are overly technical and would require prior study. It's a bit akin to having someone switch to a foreign language. I ain't going to learn Russian just to find out what he's talking about...

could infer broad possibilities from eternity to reincarnation with quantum physics.

Re: I must confess,
Thanks, strat! It has slowly dawned on me (I'm a bit slow at times, lol), that the blogging format is not the ideal package for this sort of thing...

This has been an enjoyable...
...and challenging ride and you've done a masterful job of presenting a difficult concept to a general audience.
I hope you have other such mind-expanding projects lined up for us in the near future.
Thanks, Jack, for the effort I'm sure must have gone into this series.

I really enjoyed it!
And I was happy to enjoy it, you know what I mean? I didn't try to understand all of it, just made a goofy face and said 'far out!' So it was fun reading! I like the one possible way to travel in time and the infinity Lucys best!

This is one of those I would love to see listed in its entirety, in order..
Nothing to apologize for: when we visit someone's world, we take the tour they offer... And to offer unusual ideas that require us to expand consciousness to consider them, does more service than presenting something we already knew we were interested in.
Your blog is your soapbox: say what you want!
And by the way, it's about time you got back!

It was of great interest. I plan to reread in its entirety and offer my comments. sam

I must confess,
I didn't get through all of them -- however, what I read was informative and well-written. If nothing else, thanks for taking on a monumental task and making it eminently readable! I'll try to catch up with the ones I missed.

Nautikos, I think perhaps that this post might be the best of all of the series, not because it is the ending, but because I think I understood every bit of it without having to stretch my brain too far.
