I love the Lord deeply and He has been a great comfort to me. I appreciate your view point as well. sam

kooka_lives - have you ever noticed that . . . . .
Those who would use the nonsensical phrase "worshipping nothing" seem to have two major elements missing in their argument? They are tryng to imply a lack of values but cannot use the word "values" itself, because every person alive has values of some description. Because the argument cannot be addressed by actually using the words they are attempting to imply; worship or worshipping is necessarily elevated to be a paramount value when in reality it is nothing more than a primitive notion. So the two elements missing in their argument are: why worshipping something has the value they place on it and the very elevation of worship to the level of importance that they insist it must have, demonstrates that they don't know what is important in life.

Good post..........I have felt this way for many years. I "preach" it to my kids..........It's all about people.........not "stuff".........If you surround yourself w/ solid people.......that's all you need (beside the obvious inner strength). And, although it has put me at great (i should say here GREATER odds, there is so much that divide us) odds w/ my kid's father........I just can't espouse religion/god to them......i feels like the greatest untruth and I refuse to do it.
