I was hoping that the end of the writers strike, might signal a new surge in creative shows. Reality shows prevail for one reason. They are cheap. And there's always an audience for them. Gone are the days of 'classic' sit-coms: Cheers, Seinfeld, Cosby Show, Friends, etc.
