If conservative don't think war is the best solution, they sure have a funny way of showing it. To march into Iraq and claim that we are protecting ourselves, when it was clear beforehand and it is very clear now, that Iraq was no threat and wouldn't have been for some time. And now to push the need to march into Iran when we actually are not ready for it, while denouncing anyone who tries to say we might want to try and talk things out to avoid fighting, just seems to suggest you guys want war more than anything else.
And of course you had to slip in some form of attack against Obama, because without that you couldn't push your propaganda.
Yes, he has said that Carter was in the wrong in talk with Hamas. I don't full agree with that and I feel that some of that is just him doing the political dancing that all politicians have to do. I won't pretend to know the whole story, but from what I have seen Hamas is actually more actively engaging in straight-out terrorists acts compared to Iran. At that point, Hamas does need to show a level of good will by stopping their actions if they wish to get talks going.
I also saw here on Blogit as well as many other places lots and lots of Conservatives bad mouthing Carter for his actions, so you can't try to say it was just Obama who had issues with what he was doing.
The final fact is however, that we are not going to be able to use our military might to stop all the fighting and if we don't at least try to start talking with these people, nothing is going to be resolved. We either start trying to get something active in the way of talks going now or we feed the wars and promote more fighting.

DO CONSERVATIVES ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT WAR IS THE ONLY ANSWER?
Hardly.
And, by the way, none other than Barack Obama, who can hardly be called a conservative, was offended by Carter's mission to Hamas. Now, Obama needs to explain his desire to negotiate with Iran, after promising to never negotiate with terrorists who want to destroy Israel.
