- Go to SO THE WORLD WHEN END WHEN MY SON TURNS 13?
Like the story of Henny Penny, when groups sell their homes and PREPARE
for the end, I just wonder how they feel the day after the last day, when it isn't. I pity them and they appear every decade or so and have appeared and despaired over the coming end from time immemorial.
The Sky is Falling, the sky is falling and then, it really isn't. It is why I read these old tales to my grandchildren, so that when a Henny Penny comes running into their lives telling them that the sky is falling, they will think twice.

People Forget About Now
I belong to a segment of Christianity that talks a lot about end times. The Bible does talk about it, too, and we can either believe or not believe it. But I agree with you when you question why people are so fixated on end times -- if only they had the same fixation on the present -- now -- and were making the present a better time. For some people it seems to be end times that motivate them, rather than the love of God or of Christ. That's misplaced priorities.
