 The bad stepfather was from who the dirty girl left to be with the best suited man to bring her up: Shepparda (the good stepfather).

What do you mean by new-age stepfather.

Hope there are more to visit and read this one.

Interesting anti-climax
The ending was unexpected. Wonder if there is a reason for mentioning the bad stepfather? Was it to provide a contrast between the stereotypical stepfather and the new-age stepfather?
