Thank you, Sinome. Much of this is me, a premonition that left, in the back of my mind, a sense that my previous marriages were doomed, so that for this love, however much I may want to, and I certainly do, I should not "jump the gun". I think that she understands enough and, also because of her own circumstances, wants to go slow. It may be just my own insanity, but even so, I am certain in my own mind that first A then B, so B must be slow and I try to speed up A.

Beautiful poem CP, heartfelt and honest. I can't understand any woman resisting your charms.., and the selling of the books, be patient my friend, talent you got, recognition is slow to come... poets are the most misunderstood artists. Just smile and know that you are destined to be one of the greats. :-)
