Thanks for reading and commenting.  I've been to other such "help yourself" and pay us schemes before and it is mostly a waste of time.  Scientific studies on Landmark forum have apparently proved that it does ad value and "graduates", or whatever they call themselves, have been found to have a "better" locus of control than a random control group.  This may also indicate that those prone to join such organizations have "better" locus's of control already, which is not mentioned.  Who's to decide if a internal or external locus of control is better in the long run anyway?  We often find scientific studies (especially in the human sciences) done with all the relevant controls and checks, contradict each other anyway.  The only real benefit of these meetings is that you sometimes meet some interesting people, but you can meet people at other places too.
