Just read through your post and I must say that my heart went to you who had to face an unfortunate and untold misery for an unknown reason. You must be eighteen then? And I want you to know that sam (read her comment) is one lady who will embrace you with her warmth and giving nature where you'll find solace and comfort. I wish you that

I am compelled to return to share some insight I have regarding those who take their lives. I have been on the brink of destruction three times and each involved suicide attempts. I was fortunate because someone found me each time. I have been institutionalized for it as well. Each time I went in voluntarily. The one thing I do know is that the mind shuts down and the will to live ceases. I never thought about the ones I would be leaving behind in turmoil. I just didn't want to exist. I later learned I had a severe case of clinical depression. I still don't understand all the things that happened but I do not seek suicide now but help and intervention. Your husband's brain just failed him as mine did me.  sam

Oh my goodness I am in tears. I don't understand why this happens to young people. You are right he will always yours. I admire your candor and such a wonderful tribute. I just read a previous poem and now I understand it so much more now. Peace, love and blessings to you.  sam

This is beautiful writing, and from the heart.
and it also make me wonder what it would feel like to love like that.  To know that he was yours, to love so unconditionally.
