- Go to Spice Up My Life? Oh Go On Then, If I must...
I have a friend who would kill for Spice Girl tickets ...
I'm not a fan, but I respect your right to love them. I am going to see John Mellencamp (lifelong dream) in July, so.... can't really talk, lol.

I thought this was a well written article. I am not a fan of theirs so I don't their music. I like the descriptions of how they have been able to adhere to a successful formula. Maybe we can take a lesson from them. sam

Never cared for the PR-machined pop groups, helenography. I know, to an
extent, all of them are, but those like Spice Girls, NKoTB, 98 Degrees, InSync, and all those just don't appeal. Nothing "real" about them. Give me a drunken Keith Richards any day... Great article, by the way...

And why not! The interesting part is that the old timers do much better than the so called up- and-coming. It's hard to beat Madonna and even the gereatric Rolling Stone still know how to throw a punch! Thanks for reading me and your comment.

Helen-
A fun review - though I never did get into the Spice Girls or other pussycat groups of the time. I'm more of a Sting or David Gray girl myself!
