Sira
First of all, this post make me feel better about my own cluttered study. And I understand about crazies wanting to do their faces before going in to give birth! I only go to the doctor when I am healthy, I'd be embarrassed to go when I am sick! Why would I go when I am healthy? Why, for a check-up and a confirmation that I am healthy, of course.
And tell Mark to chill! The CIA and FBI have no business in this country. I look up anything I damn well want...

Re: Well, maybe you don't "really" intend to kill anyone. Maybe you do.
LOL Pat! You've got a good point there...Muahahahaha! (that was me, cackling in an evil voice...)
I can't say I'm comforted by the story of the guy from florida...then again, he actually did poison his neighbor, and there's nothing like a dead body to prompt an investigation.
I suppose if any dead bodies turn up in my area, I could end up being suspect #1.

P.S. You don't have to worry...
I hear a clean desk is a sign of a guilty conscience, and as long as you're good and messy, nobody'll be any the wiser.

Well, maybe you don't "really" intend to kill anyone. Maybe you do.
I mean, if you really were planning something, you wouldn't admit it, would you? heh! heh! heh!
In fact this morning I saw a true crime program about a Florida guy whose printouts and research on poisons turned into the circumstantial evidence that brought about his conviction for poisoning his neighbor. He's on death row even now. Although he wasn't a fiction writer.

So a tidy work space is a sign of a disturbed mind? Fancy that, just today I posted a piece called "I lost my mind". Now I know how that happened, because I am VERY tidy.
