Re: Sam
Thanks for stopping by.  I sometimes think it is a pity that the world has come to a stage where many people reject teachings that was never meant to enslave and manipulate, but to free and empower.  I do however believe that this is necessary to help cleanup the mess that some traditions have made and we also continuously need to renew our hearts and minds in the presence of a reality that is forever changing on the surface in terms of appearances lest we get stuck in routines that no longer carry the originally intended meanings.

Re: A general hello
I guess I'll miss out then since I'm too cash strapped to go galavanting around the globe.  Pity though.  I knew my God whilst living in South Africa during very turbulent times too, so it is not only a "knowing" that comes from pleasant surroundings.  I am grateful that I have the opportunity to let my children grow up in a country that is very much geared towards children and a brighter future.  Not that I completely agree with everything happening here in terms of education and legislation with regards to rearing ones children, but at least people here are trying very hard to make things work in a multi-cultural society.  New Zealand is a true Rainbow Nation and that fits perfectly with the "Rainbow Warrior" and a strong environmental conscience.  Thanks for taking the time to read my articles.

God provides us with every nourishment we need. I agree we have to hold and be close to God for true happiness and meaning for our lives. You know that and I know! Those who oppose do not know God and will forever be searching for a happiness that does not exist! A grand commentary!  sam

A general hello

Hi, I've read a lot of what you've written since you left your very kind little note for me concerning what I write. You'd better come over here quickly, I'm stopping doing B&B, too hard, gone past the age, etc.  I envy you living in New Zealand, I've never been there, I hear such a lot of good about it. I think it must be easier to believe in and talk to your God when you live in beautiful surroundings.
