You have remarkably sensible parents! Except for the Brussels sprouts, of course, even though I actually like them, sliced in half and then fried in butter, with pepper, salt and a little nutmeg...

LOL Pat! My parent's used a slightly different term when I was young...I think "hellion" was in there somewhere!

you sure got it right here with this blog. All they need is to know you love them always and that you are both on the same side. My kids weren't supervisied 24/7 either and they grew up pretty independent and have made good parents themselves. You got it all right I reckon.
