My pain is the something I can bear but his birth father is verbally and physically abusive and my real pain is knowing that I cannot do anything to protect him now except to pray to God to protect him. Its a prayer I pray when I wake and I pray before I sleep. If my faith protects him then that will be enough for me.

I'm sorry you don't get to see your son. I can only imagine the pain. You seem like one tough lady........and, it appears that you are making the best of what life has dished out to you.
