this for me is a tough question for unconditional love that I gave to
someone very important to me was eventually thrown back into my face. Sometimes we jut have to move on still loving the person but leaving them in God's hands.

I just believe in 'unconditional Love' and with LOVE pain comes...There is a book - I have read it many a times.  It's hard to find actually because it was a real 'sleeper' but, I do have to read it sometimes, (an easy read) to just remind what I LOVE for ~ Hannah Hurnard - Hinds Feet on High Places --- an excellent allegory ~ I will keep praying with you ~ Elyse (whatever it takes; breathe...cry- rest and eat, nurture yourself...so you can nurture others)

I'm sorry you feel that way. Perhaps a hobby would help you to be more
independent. Getting involved in making decisions for yourself could help you to develop yourself.

I agree, love without honesty is non existent. What do you want to love? A shadow? A lie? Certainly not.

I don't put conditions on my love, except one...
...honesty. And without honesty, love is a farce. Who hasn't put that condition on love?

My Teacher says a lot about unconditional love. Of course words are only words unless one puts them into practice. It’s not easy. We live in the world of duality. Meaning in one part that nothing is pure. In other words, nothing is without its opposite. Whenever one thing exists, its opposite also exists.

My Teacher says things like: Love All, Serve All; Live in Love; Ego gets and Forgets, Love gives and Forgives; Love lives by giving and forgiving; self lives by getting and forgetting; Make your life a rose that speaks silently in the language of fragrance; Love with no expectation of return; There is only one language, the language of the heart; Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray. He says a lot of other things as well.

I am and have been facing something to similar what you are describing. Similar but, different too. Anyway, when I apply the teachings, I am happy. When I dwell on other things, I am not.

May you have peace, joy, bliss.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE...We are here to listen..I would offer some thoughts but I haven't been in your shoes...I can only say that you will find your strength inside..I did when I lost my husband and the father of my daughter..It is there..I promise..Take care..I wish you the best this Mother's day..

I would suggest you look within for your happiness. It works every
time.  Honestly - how do you know what will fulfill you and make you happy if you haven't experienced it at your own hands?  Everyone I have ever known who depend on other people to make them happy are never happy for any length of time.  "You complete me" is just a Hollywood line ... in my humble opinion anyway.  Screw it all and have a great day!!!  Talk to you later

You're not having a good few days at all, are you?  I wish I had some words of wisdom to share with you or some advice that might help but the best I can do is wish you well and hope you get through this difficult time.

You are not alone
I too have experienced the 'game players' with sooooo many 'conditions.'  I am at the point where it's 'love me or don't.' I gotta love myself first and foremost. Hang in there baby, we can make it. I got your back and you got mine. It'll be okay.
