I was lucky he was there, and nice enough to help! I think hairspray is about the most effective things on spiders, and it's really good on winged menaces too--freezes them in mid-flight!

What an account. I'm happy you got a knight in shining armor come to the rescue. And about the hairspray: I paralyse spiders with it, often, in Turkey! I'm not so frithened of bugs, but spiders or any kind and size bring me close to a fainting fit. Thanks so much for your comment.
