Re: jesse, I hope things improved for you...I have days when a culprit
oh, man, i'm so sorry, I have heard of this dreadful disease. I understand that it is not only a very difficult thing to handle physically but also mentally. That it literally bounds you, because of the fact that there are times, when you can not go outdoors at all. That must be a great mental challenge to overcome. I pray that you will come to grips with this. I also hear that it makes it difficult to even move around. I pray for the best for you.

bad day and fibromyalgia
Sorry about the rough day.  I experience them everyday as I have fibrotic material down the side of my sppinal cord and take chronic pain meds to control the pain.  Philosophy:  Just keep on going as the pain is neither here nor there.  No matter what you do its there, so accept the situation and move on.  Play classical music that is relaxing, paint a picture, write apoem.  But by all means do not give in to pain.  It is not your boss.  I have found these techniques effective in offsetting the severity of the pain and have found that beading helps me tune it out even more.  I am always doing something.  It really works.  Stop worrying about the small stuff.  It is there, so accept it and go on with life which is far more exciting.
