Great poem. I don't blame you though for feeling that way about those gifts he received. Sometimes we adults do not realize what our actions and comments leave in the pstchy of our children. I am sure your grandma did not mean to desilusion you on men. She was just venting and you were there. As I am also sure your grandpa did not set out to flaunt his friends in front of you. They just did not think it would harm you and the fact that they had you around shows that they loved you. Here <<<<hug >>> smile and remember the good things, like that chinese food, it must have been so good! :-)
