Beautiful words and images... you brought me back to lazy afternoons watching a dream-catcher hanging from a magnolia tree and listening to it chime while dreaming my time away... those were the days ...:-) Thanks!~

I think for most of us dreams are alive and well – without them life would be pretty boring.

PS:
re-looking at pic, and just noticed big fish arising out of (water?) like castle, and having two eyes looking as benign witness (and why it is painted opaque). Seems like there are a lot of eyes, here, gazing into the center of attention, and the center of action (tho on second glance, this seems to be benign too).
So, the painting didn't change only I did.
Thanks for the experience. It was better than taking a bath.

Interesting pic. One dead dragon to the left, maiden in middle, trying to offer dragon (right) food, a potion? Dragon (right) instinctively withdrawing (is this food, an offering, or poison?), while much younger dragon is looking up (hey, what's happening?).
"Oh, we're just rehearsing a Greek Play (Clytamestra) to see if this poison actually works."
"Oh, great. Can I watch?"
But the pictoral story might have other meanings--depending how you feel about dragons. If you are a westerner (occidental) you might see dragons primordial force (chaos), so naturally, everyone would like to be a St. Georege.
On the other hand, if you are from the East (like China) news, seems to travel very slow, because they haven't heard about the Adam and Eve Story yet. In fact, they still beleive that snakes and dragons are beneficial, and bring good luck.
...which brings us to the 3rd dimension: Dragons, even if they are in our mind, might be an endagered species, and they might have one of these dragon diseases which is going to wipe them out...which is why the maiden is trying to administer to them the serum or antedote, while the young dragon (bottom), looking on, has already developed an immune system, somehow passed on thru trial and error (which is why he/she seems to be wondering about all this).
And now to the 4th dimension, not that it's here, yet, but why it's a possibility. For without it, our job would complete, and who wants that!
