Thanks, but am I also mistaken in understanding that the "global warmers" claimed that warming would continue unbroken? Kinda like The GORE's discredited prediction of continuing increases in severity of Atlantic hurricanes?

And this was decades ago.
The water is colder because of the Greenland icecaps melting, and the southern flow of the Atlantic that has brought unusual temperate weather to Western Europe for so long is now being disrupted by this.
That's all I need to say.
You and yours are mistaken again.

i'm with you on this all the way -- in the 50 billion or so years this
planet has been around it's gone through stages of being covered in ice to periods where it was primarily a desert with global temps averaging in the 120's and guess what we weren't here for 99.999999999 percent of it. I do think greenhouse gases present other problems and we should continue to take common sense steps to reducing them to negligible levels.
