When i was growing up in Kansas we use to make our May day
baskets and fill with candy and do the door thing, only you had to knock on the doors.

interesting 'May' my dear..thank you......May for us is 'Flores de Mayo' a.k.a. 'May Flower'...celebrated in a procession or gala of lovely women escorted by handsome men...under an arch made of flowers and some fancy decorations...walking around like princesses and princes...thank you dear...
