Re: maybe we should all work for Jesus and ourselves
Thanks Solita! We need to return to being simple human beings again, if we can.

Re: still too stunned to respond ...
Thanks Vickip! Kabu made me aware that there is a breed of females who are just intent on equal rights and treatment! I do not call these feminists seeing that they are humans, like me, struggling for some parity in life. What feminism has mutated into today, is far removed from the innocent thought of an equal rights struggle. A feminist today is a female version of a predator. Visit henrymakow.com for more on today's feminists. My experiences and that of others (some links are there in previous posts) have been related in this blog. I'll say this, I was very stunned that they came after me with snake power and still collude to keep me suppressed!

we should at least learn to garden again. I wish my children understood the economy.

Solita that's heart and soul!

still too stunned to respond ...
"It is the way that predators and feminists have worked to give their kind the managerial and other opportunities." How have you managed, in your mind, to lump predators and the (antiquated), term "feminist" into the same thought? Do you really mean predators and women who want equal pay for equal work for having equal skills and an equal need to make a living??

This was a most thought provoking blog. I think I am sometimes way too
materialistic(it's the shoes of course) but then I think of the times including last year when I just walked away from all I owned and followed where God called me to. But Oh the shoes!

Re: excuse me??
Yes, Vickip. At the neighborhood level, this is what is done. Of course, if there are family owned businesses that exist (ie not driven out yet by giants like Walmart) there are other factors at play. In fact it is common knowledge that when a Administrator leaves, his retinue usually follows. This is not only true of the white house. Do you have a problem with this summation?

Materialism is a culture in itself. I love to hear materialists gather and compare their net worths and achievements! Thanks!

Re: Yes, it is soul selling in this market economy
The competition kills the empathy and compassion in a market economy. With money in their pockets, egos have voices. Otherwise they would shut up! Thanks Kayzz!

I think you are right to say we must forge ahead. I think that society is playing to material wealth and money, when it should be a spirit of poverty and helping one's fellow man. Great riches are not in the temporal! sam
