I cant stay awake to read, but if I could it would be romantic I am sure, but I read short blogs mainly, for I have a concentration problem

I'm reading a shmultzy book now but it's becoming addictive:
Mary Barton . It reminds me of Little Women and Jane Eyre -- two books I read as a kid.

I like blueberries and fibre for breakfast. LOL
Yes it's fun to peek into other people's lives so much we can learn from each other.

I couldn't agree more symphony. I don't mind reading someone's
woes and tragic life's events - but I also want to read how they overcame them - how they survived or have found a way to deal with them.  I am turned off by constant negativity and pity party invites.  I love the last lines in this - I am going to copy them and read them to keep myself in check.  GREAT post!

Like vogue...
...I read anything but tear jerking romance and sci-fi. If I read sci-fi, it had better be damn good!

Symphony, you did a really good job here of telling us what you like to read.  When I have to answer that question, my mind goes in circles and then goes blank because I like so many different things that my thoughts can't seem to sort them out like you did.

I read anything and everything, except science fiction and tear dripping romantic novels.

I like biographies and such as well, but as a former English major and hack writer, I especially like when a writer can turn a phrase and say something profound. It's kind of like when a musician can write amazing lyrics and great guitar chords as well.
