You are on the path. But we, individually are powerless when faced with this level of opposition. When governments fail to act in the interest of the governed there is little hope for present day justice.

problem is
many people suffer because of injustice
and the pattern that created past injustices persists.
there is a sort of principle that we all have to pay one way or another.
we can figure out a way to invest in a brighter future by helping those on the lower rungs to rise out of the morass in which they find themselves
or -- we can leave it all alone and let the chips (or bullets) fall where they may.
we already pay for our lack of attention to the problem.
