This is so great! Your style is so unique, taking us with you down memory lane, reliving escapades with your friends and family - all as endearingly sketched, as you yourself are, as you masterfully relate these great Southern livin' moments - but the "heart" you put in echos and connects no matter where the reader is from. This particular post has one of what I think is greatest line:
Funny how one wallet sized photo can trip off a rerun of a movie you forgot you starred in. Now, that is great!

This was such a grand write. I loved the prom then the changes so common to high school students. Your descriptions of you sojourn was outstanding. I love this piece! sam

strat, no offense but why is your print so tiny?
It is for me anyway. I never went to prom. A waste of my time. LOL I went to all the homecoming dances though. What's the difference? I have no clue. LOL
