This happens to me all the time...I know and feel the frustration.
what I do now...is after every two lines...I keep saving....so if it does need to close...it saves....only have two lines to remember, which helps.

allrighty then .... that was supposed to say .... Maybe you need

Wouldn't have a computer in my house!!! Keep it in the back yard!
I usually write in a notebook longhand...notebooks rarely crash! Though Bo has been known to chew on them.
