Exactly, vickip. And now he will stand trial and bring embarrassment,
shame, and humiliation upon those he has been degrading all these years. Society will speak of revulsion and that, too, will bleed over onto the victims. And they will carry this stigma. No. Better he die (somehow) than they have to go through all that. Counseling and relocation (like witness protection), the allowance of a certain anonymity, would be in order here for the victims were we a bit more humane...

This story annoyed me no end, vogue. That a man could do this to his own
child, that the police did not find her for 24 years, that it took a "tip" for them to find her... The entire story just reeks...
