I remember in a place called Brisbane in Queensland Australia a coffee shop called the Old English Inn and it was wonderful. Deveonshire Teas, strawberryshort cake booths of dark wood and the most magnifcent tea and coffee, waitresses in starched white aprons and little caps on their head. It was an age of elegance and style. I used to go there with my grandmother of blessed memory.
I wouldn't quite go as far as the black mid calf length dresses with the starched aprons but the food quality I would want similar and kosher. Mind would be a bit more modern and drop in for a coffee and good cake or food or a place ot meet friends.
