Undoubtedly so. If not from the government, then from the outrage of
a complacent people afraid of the disruption.  For, ultimately, all governments are sanctioned through popular consent.

I don't know, ace2inspire, what you describe sounds like a dictatorial
theocracy.  They tend to be intolerant and end in bloody revolution.  Besides, that's what Bush has been trying to create for the past eight years, Falwell and Robertson and Buchanan for most of their lives...

I hate politics
but i always have an opinion. Does a vote really count?? I should run for president, I would vote for Jesus, get rid of the Goverment, get a leader. IRS don't work and they're trying to make it or break it!!

It is unfortunate, but I do believe you are correct, Glennb. It seems that
the radicals who control the government these days radicalize in the direction of fascism and control, whereas the forefathers they claim to exalt and venerate radicalized in the form of loosely governed populism...

wrong and oneself, and have the government after you.  Don't speak up, go underground and call attention to the wrong, and the government eventually goes after you.  Play it safe, do nothing, and die with bitter conscious but safe from the goverment.  There it is...

Saul Relative,
In the beginning of this great experiment called the United States of America we were blessed with many great "Radical Thinkers"! Men who saw the dangers of divine rulers who prey upon and leech the governed! Now we are cursed with a cadre of "Radical talkers" who are financed by the government we elect! "We" have allowed these people to abolished "We" from establishing the boundaries of government!

Ain't that the truth.....
So what does someone do if they're "right" - speak out or keep it to themselves?
