Great post, FYS. I really enjoyed this speech. I like listening to
Obama.  I enjoyed listening to Edwards as well.  I liked Mike Huckabee's speeches (although I did not agree with some of his politics).  I don't like listening to Hillary (I love listening to Bill).  And I don't like listening to McCain.  And this is about speech quality, not quality of content, although, come to think of it, I'd say the same thing...

Re: I followed your link
Aardige, thanks for reading.....I have read several of his speeches available on his site.  Obama is consistent, not just in his oral presentations, but in his actions & his voting record.  I'll be posting a few more excerpts from this speech, and some excerpts from others with more commentary.

I followed your link
and if Obama means what he says I for one will support him as a leader, since he displays the kind of understanding I can relate to.  I know where he comes from and I think many people can relate to his journey from scepticism regarding organized religion and eventually embracing a specific path available in his community.

Re: The man is an orator.
Justi, thanks for commenting.  Most politicians are orators (I say "most" in reference to Bush, who has his own daily spot on Letterman called "Great Moments In Presidential Speeches".).  What seems to be the objection to what he says in this speech over and above his delivery ability?
