I'm sorry you lost your uncle, and I hope your dad will be okay.
I'm glad though, that you've got the peaceful refuge of your home once more. It always makes me appreciate my house more when all the guests give me a hug and disappear.

My reading and writing here has been limited for days. And I am here but a moment. Anyway, I'll leave that aside.
I am sorry for your loss. There is no need to dread writing a eulogy. It is a privilege, and a
gift of time, love, and skill. Write it from the heart, and capture his spirit and character
and it will be fine. Funnily enough I don't mind writing them, it feels like the most useful thing I can do except make sandwiches for a wake.
