Re: Hi thanks for visiting my blog
Thanks Norwood, I will visit you again! Now I must post! Yeah, my kids get along well but there is a pay off. My daughter shuns her American side, which means me too, but I think she will come to realize some day how lucky she is to be bi-cultural. Even if it isn't till she is all grown up. Daughter is carefull to do everything right, and son is so nonchalant that things just slide over him...which is great!! See you around!

Re: kaboom
Yeah, in fact it does! There are these great long lightening rods on the roof so I guess that is good....but the sound is frightening

The sunshine has been here lately, KaBooM62--at least part of the time. It would be really neat though to be able to see a mountain from my window.

Hi thanks for visiting my blog
kABOOM it is very hard to deal with prejudice on a daily basis anywhere and I have heard that some of the Japanese are very racist because that is a part of the culture. They were closed off from foreigners. One lesson it does teach you is how hurtful isolation and racism is and it makes you more determined not to inflict that sort of pain on others.
How does your child fit into the school system there? I have heard it is very different to ours and there is a lot of pressure to succeed in all subjects!
Good luck with it and escaping with a good book is calming isn't it?

...to share with me (way over here). Thank you so much. I find
your photos absolutely awesome! That's the only way to see that beautiful
mountain from Myrtle Beach, SC. (USA)
Great photo!
