I have no one on my blocking list because
1. I prefer to examine that person's argument and even if they have gotten abusive as I had happen on my bigpond blog, I leave the comment up because it says more about the person posting the abusive hatred than me or my writing. I actually don't mind people disagreeing with me. It opens out other perspectives on issues etc
2. I am not so insecure in my own beliefs that I can't stand it if others disagree with my views
3. Freedom of speech dictates that we should allow disent on our blogs and have different view points allowed
I hope you never get into government office Dave although I am sure Saddam Hussein and people of his ilk would love to have you as their Minister of Information!

Thanks Callista! I can't help their causes, if thats what they want. I present original research and researched articles by others. If people read and comment on what they read. Fine. If they find ways of condemning me beyond what I post....they get blocked! It is rude and disrespectful!

the way I see it if someone doesn't like what you (the general you of course) have to say, post or direct others to see, it would be quite easy to just say nothing and leave it at that; rudeness, persecution et all is quite unnecessary; there are no rules as to what we should read, it is our choice; take care and have a great weekend

well first thats jus an article you posted...you didnt write it but jus put it out there for those with open minds to learn what really happened and not what most want you to know or believe ever happened for then they are threatened and of course when threatened they always go on the offensive and whoever was claiming that your post was anti-semitic obviously wasnt involved with the process so the fact that hes getting angry is jus him wasting energy on a past event which is like me getting angry over how the slave owners on the plantations treated the slaves which accomplishes nothing for we cannot alter the way our ancestors behaved but rather try to individually and communally improve the actions of each everyones respected culture

right. When people don't know the meaning of respecting another's individuality - you just block them completely from your life. Life will be better off without them anyway. It's not like they are giving out handouts to the whole world. Good JOb.
