LOL Kaboom!
I'm with you--there's a time and a place to do things for yourself, and a mud puddle is not it!

Re: Re: Sira
LOL Kabu!
Cheers
to all the women out there who are clever enough to do it themselves, and smart enough to know they don't have to!

Re: Sira890
Oh Wiley, I couldn't go into sales--I don't have the patience required to deal with difficult or demanding customers!
I'm actually very good with mechanical sorts of things, but my theory has always been "don't go rolling around in the mud unless you have to!". As long as I've got a willing assistant, I'm quite happy to stand back and let them do the dirty work!
Thanks for reading 'pops'!

Re: Good strategy
Azur,
I've heard all sorts of stories about cool stuff that was found in the wreckers (or junk yard), but never books--I think that's the best sort of treasure!
Thanks for reading

Good strategy
My dad used to have a 'junk yard', but it was called a wreckers. Used to find all sorts of things.
Once he brought home some 'Anne' books found in the back of a car.
