Werewolves of China
During the Boxer Rebellion riots in China against the European and American colonies, the trapped American soldiers melted down silver plate, and even coins, to make bullets. :)

Greece and Turkey, loving enemies from what I can see. It's great
to complain and weep about all the terrible things your neighbor does to you. Yet if one suffers from a terrible earth quake as has happenend to both in recent years, the other is there to help in an instant. Then they go back to threatening to drop a bomb on each other.

Re: Your story about lead made me flash on one of Mom's old sayings:
LOL, Pat. Of course, the problem with that theory is that Lead results from the decay of
Uranium! As far as we know, the atomic nucleus of Iron doesn't decay at all, it's extremely stable, created in intra-stellar fusion together with other heavy elements and then blasted into space in supernovae...

Your story about lead made me flash on one of Mom's old sayings:
Laziness is when the iron in your blood turns to lead and settles to the bottom.
