Great poem
I really liked the poem. It sure is amazing how each reader perceives someone else's writing. I took a different angle. The times when there is no sun are the times when we are alone, and therefore without a shadow. My take on this is to always be aware of someone close to you, for one day they will not be there? Never take someone for granted. Because they can not be seen, does not mean that they are not there. Seek spiritual connections rather than physical ones. Great poem!

A wonderful poem -- full of life and love... with a subtle truth at the finish. Marvelously written. Thank you for sharing.

The last line is really magical, the whole poem makes me think of fairy tales and Peter Pan, Only in a more homey and tangible way. Very enjoyable
