My brother had a similar experience but a couple of years before me.  Only some time after this happened there was a boom in these kind of faces in movies and accessories.  Makes me wonder how many people have had a similar experience.  It is very easy to explain it away if it hasn't happened to you, but all those who have lived it will know that it certainly has a major effect on the direction your life takes after that.  It is just as easy to dismiss the experience of dreams and hallucinations but all these "non shared" experiences are still real experiences for the individual who experiences it and it has just as much effect on a persons view of life as any shared experience can have.  Of course it can easily be said to be "madness" to let "unreal" experiences influence our lives, but most who claim that are themselves living in delusion about the nature of reality anyway and are building their views on their own imaginations about reality.  In Buddhism this is called "fictitious being" since we think and act according to the fictions we have about reality.  Thanks for reading
