Hi, I just read a few of your posts. I wanted you
to know that I, too, wanted a happy family more
than anything. My kids have disappointed me more
than I can say. I told my 20 year old granddaughter
recently, I never wanted to be rich, a career or
a love of my life. I just wanted a happy family.
Like many kids today, she remarked to my comment,
"Grandma, there is no such thing as happy family."
When I read your posts, I realize how sad it is,
that most of us are plagued by dysfunction, drugs
and alcohol. How could we assume anybody could
be happy in the world of turmoil we live in today?
I'm just writing this because I don't want you to feel
like you were alone in your problems. We all got them.
Bless you anyway. Writing is good therapy.
