Re: You really do write from your heart don't you
Thanks Kabu! You're doing fine with Tom. You're weaving internal musings with history and action, in a very realistic way. Make's for fine reading. A short post messes with continuity, but if you do a long post, readers may back off!

The truth of the world that exists now is missed by people who depend on scriptures for their information. Mired in the past, they cannot see the evolution of the world, and the pervasiveness of evil. This observation is often derided and its observers labeled as negative. It is important to see what kind of gravy you're stewing in. The competitors have locked themselves into games, oblivious of the larger issues in life. Morons at play! Thanks!

Wow-you are so very passionate Soul!! I so readily read this piece of your
work and am both-'a little fearfull'-(of what I don't know)-and fascinated! Thank you.Chris.PS.I believe 'fascinated' is not the correct word-more like-'open minded'?

You really do write from your heart don't you

Bravo I feel pretty humbled that you see what I am trying to say with my Tom story. and identify with him. The world is a harsh place if you're different and an individual. I am wrestling with the terrible degrading racist language that I am using. But Tom was born in 1797 and it's now nearly 1817. This means that to keep it authentic I must let my characters use the language of their time, but I actualy cringe sometimes while I write and I can feel the anger rising. I do feel though that I am meant to write about Tom.

"yes, truth of the world that exists now".  I posted something similar to these words you wrote.  Bottom line for my post today is to hopefully have more meaningful, more uplifiting items in the papers and the news.  No more face time for criminals, etc....
