Kaboom,
Sounds good to me! But we have to make a stop at Justi's, to do some painting

Hey Sira,
Could you swing by and get me on your way out to your road trip! That's my spring fever too! We can share the driving!

Hi, I loved this post. Not to worry just get in the little car and come to visit me, paint my walls, move my furniture and you will have done it, I will be happy and you will feel accomplished. You won't have to bother hubby with the trouble and he can take care of the cat. Sounds like both of us got our pipe dreams settled for this spring. Good post.:)

Re: girlie, you and I are so much alike its scary
LOL FYS!
Oh brother, I'm glad I have a relatively small house! Less to redecorate, and most importantly, less to clean!
Have fun, and good luck getting hubby to help--if he's anything like Mark, you've got a fight on your hands

Re: I'm going to plant daffodil bulbs in pots and when it gets a little
Sounds beautiful Kabu!
I'll be waiting for pictures of all your pretty flowers--I have brown thumbs, so I'll have to garden vicariously through you!

Fantastic plan Azur! I've got a few stories on the go right now--what's one more?
Thanks for reading!

Re: Sira
Naut,
What is with guys and this aversion to rearranging the furniture? I suppose it could be because they're the ones that always end up doing the bulk of the work...
And don't worry, I'll get the suspension fixed pronto--I've been in a car when the suspension dropped, and I have no desire to repeat the experience!

Re:
vogue,
I could take Mark's truck, but it's not the same. Me and my car have bonded over many a road trip--it just wouldn't be right to welcome spring without my beloved vehicle!

girlie, you and I are so much alike its scary
This could have been my weekend with my husband. I'm so ready to start tearing the house apart and pitching everything, remodeling the dining room, redoing the floors all over the house, redecorating the bathroom.......so much to do, such a big house!!! How I long for my little apartment!

I'm going to plant daffodil bulbs in pots and when it gets a little
warmer, I'll dot them around the house.

Why not write stories including all that you want to do
but won't.
That's what I do.

Good grief, Sira. This sounds like things at my place. Pitiful (the cat) has gone absolutely bananas, my son dragged me all around his huge yard this morning showing me everything he is planting/going to plant, the buds on the fruit trees, the changes he's making in his yard, etc. My car is in the garage having major overhaul and I've been carrying out stuff to the dumpsters from my closets that I should probably be taking to the Salvation Army thrift center.

The cat ain't gonna break her neck, that's the only thing you can be absolutely certain of, LOL. As for the rest - I'm with Mark, leave well enough alone, LOL. The only real problem you have is your front suspension - get that done, 'cause it's dangerous to let it go! And that's an order!

Can't you borrow a car? Seems to me that the driving part is the most important 'welcome spring' task.
