Well we don't have any
openable windows in the building, but I've been sick when I've been home for a week, so I don't think that's it.

well, you know some of my story....and wouldn't you know it, I had same issues at work a year back or so.  As an product development engineer, I was working with every element you could think of, along with all the lovely smells of the garage where we prepped all the vehicles.  Combine all that with my severe allergies, and presto, you have an ill employee.  I was sick all the time being around those smells.  Not to mention the windows don't open in any of the buildings, so no fresh air.  Yuk, and I even adopted a breathing disorder for a few months until I got out of there!!!  Was one heck of a year.

Sounds like you will be just fine!!!!  Sometimes we are actually allergic to the job!!!!  ha

Knew a guy who only got sick at work
Turned out he was sensitive (not allergic) to the solvents in perfumes. They gave him a corner desk with some big fans and he got okay. This was at GTE about ten years ago.

Weird stuff can make you sick, it's not always in your head.

You may be allergic to work...
It seems you feel great when you get home... 'you hang around with Jean and Joan and a who knows who' ... name that tune.   Seriously, are there windows, carpets, dusty fabrics in your office?   Melody
