I think everyone has a voice of course. If they want to summarize into one okay, but there are different angles to every piece in the mind. There are many different way to arrive at the same answer even!!!

I think both opinions are valid. It all depends on what you want to achieve. One voice gives power to an issue whereas different voices provoke reflection.

Your friend is right about looking at things from different angles..however in order to succeed and put a point across I think we need one voice..
