Good on you!!

I agree with you ....totally I have strong reservations about Obama and they are not positive. I feel there is too much hidden and too much facade with this guy. He is a a slick media entity and what is underneath?

It is scary. Please God don't let him be the Democratic candidate. I think Hilary is the better candidate ...not just because we share the same gender or European heritage..but because there are a lot of surprises in this guy and I would not be surprised at the Muslim or Islamic connections that he has. I don't think America is ready for a Black Muslim President in the white house. Think very seriously of the implications!

I know that a lot of these PC liberals would love it but they would be the first to scream at the changes he would bring.

Naw he is one scary person. Something is not right there.

Re: If you're going to do it for one...

If you feel that Mc Cain is the better candidate, more power to you. In a democracy we choose whomever we feel is best for the job. I myself shall be voting for him should Obama be the nominee.

As I've written elswhere, the intention of my blog is not to persuade people. It's my little niche where I vent why I don't feel he's best. My opposition of Obama is based on facts as told by MSM. Emotional issues? Well, I'm not going to sit back and watch him legalize partial birth abortion or allow for sex ed in Kindergarten, as per his plan for "hope and change".  I don't care if others don't change their minds, I won't remain silent.

If you're going to do it for one...
... call all the politicians on their lies and untruths, starting with the ones in office.

There's no one in any election in history who did not bend the truth a bit. That's not an apology for Obama, I'm a Republican and McCain has been caught in a few exaggerations and misstatements, too.

Opposing Obama on emotional terms is playing the very game you're accusing him of using. Let's talk substance, not appearance.

Who can best do the job of governing? Competence is the question. If you attack Obama on his qualifications for the job, you're doing a good job and you might change the minds of people who now support him.

If you make accusations of lying or poor character or other emotional issues, only the people who believe as you do already are listening. You're not going to change any minds.

McCain clearly has more and better qualifications for the job. Let's compare and contrast there.

McCain should have been president in 2000 and if he doesn't win this time it's because of George Bush's record over the past eight years, not because of some petty weasel-words or cheerleading in the Obama camp.
