I like the voice, imagery and the fact that I could truly relate to many of the thoughts. I like how you address and write poetry. sam

Thanks for reading my poem & celebrating my mom.My week was a bad one
--but I hope I am on the rebound....especially as Spring has begun to be SPRUNG! If your weather is like on the east coast here, winter is going out unlike a lamb. Two nights ago, there was freezing rain overnight on the farm where I spend many leisure hours.
This poem reminds me that we humans need variety. Now that communal life is spare and far between, urbanized life is so deadening to the senses, we need love or lust to awaken the feelings we enjoyed with the many festival and social events (think barn raising, tent religious meetings, corn shucking, and the usual rites of passage in colonial times and up to 1900 in the USA, and we see what we miss.) So, I understand - and enjoy - some innocent flirting to awaken my human side. Angels, too, need a break, right??? LOL
